wow.....just wow, folks..I hadn't dared to read this thread, as I have been up to my clavicle in our local festival the last couple of weeks....but that ended a couple hours ago, and now I am laughing and crying and *gulp*ing at the stories and ins & outs & ups & downs.
I *truly* would have loved to be there and share the feelings. I shared time with Rick several times, and I do know what he meant to people and infectious his enthusiasm could be...for music, people and the many things that happen when musical people share other parts of their lives.   Frome the sound of it all, you gave Rick's spirit...(whatever that means)... a rousing tribute that will echo through all of us for a long time to come. Good on ya' all!

...and Mick...for Pete's sake!....Take it easy. I you back at the Getaway this fall!....
