Depending on the quality of sound reproduction on your TV/HiFi, some registers are likely to be enhanced or degraded which could affect your ability to hear the words.

So was it a bad TV I was using, my ageing ears or was the mix really not up to the mark? I found the words a bit hard to hear at times and Andy Cutting, who I consider to be the classiest of all melodeon players, needn't have bothered playing. I reckon the best mixes are done by people who understand the genre/artist. Was this just any old outside broadcast or was it done by specialists?
