In St Louis the last couple of days. No outside music but me and Aunt Irene had a whale of time trying to figure out how to play 'Waltz of the bells', which my Dad taught us both, on guitar. Dad used to play a seven string back in Poland. From what I can gather the 7th string was in between the 3rd and 4th of a 6 string so literaly in the middle. It is tuned to an open chard but not fugured out what yet. He always called it 'Gypsy' tuning. Anyone any ideas?

Got some fun ideas for concertina while cruisin' around as well. (Why do them Arkansas ol' boys cruise up and down in pickups shooting at road signs btw? Must try it one day...;-) )Anyone ever heard 'Amore' (Yes I DO mean as in Dean Martin) played on an anglo? I am going to give it a try anyway.

Going picking up an old freezer from Aunties in a pick-up tommory. Perhaps I can try the 'Here, hold my beer and watch this' trick. Does it work in Illinos and Missouri? Of to some Amish place on Thursday. Not the Amanas I'm afraid but looking forward to it all the same.

Be back soon

:D
