One of the reasons that the tune Okeechobee Grass has been so hard to locate is that it was going by an assumed name. It is better known as Spanish Grass, a tune written by dobro player Mike Auldridge back in the 1970's. At least that is the conclusion drawn by the folk who made the orginal request after listening to an Auldridge MP3 at an internet address I had sent them. I think the mystery is solved.
