Thread Name: where to publish essays?
Subject: where to publish essays?
Ay up,

As some of you know I have been asking for help/ideas/info for a few school projects I've been doing.

There are some finished products which I've written, and it seems ever such a waste to just have them read by my tutor and then filed away forever in a dusty drawer. I'm not suggesting they are gems of literacy or anything, but does anyone know of archives or publications which might be interested in carrying edited versions?

One's about the role of folk/trad music in the education system, ones about the revival in keighley in the 70's and ones about 'Swing Low' new contexts and meanings.

I owe some of you copies already as you contributed...and I'm aware I've been rubbish at sending them on. Having just finished for the year I might get round to it soon, then again... (let me know if you want any of them PMing)

I'm a bit scared about putting them up for criticism, as they are just undergraduate drivel, but I thought some people might be interested to know some of what is going on up here in Folk and Traditional music degree land.

Let me know what you think, and feel free to tell me to shut up and go away if you like.

Love Fay xxx

PS I'm starting research for my disertation next month so watch this space for more opportunities to be my body of knowledge (now there's an offer!)
