Not only is Fish n Chips hitting Beijing but we have a wonderfully named new housing development just outside Shanghai called 'Thames Town' and according the the advertising blurb it emphasises the 'Great Britainic (sic) tradition'.

It will have an 'Eton' style school, church and parks.

I guess they will have to visit Reading, Slough and Maidenhead to get a few more ideas and import some 'lads' to visit the pubs, oh and some old shopping trolleys to throw in the lake.

By the way we also have estates like 'Forrest Fairyland','Yosimite Villas' and 'Rancho Sante Fe'

I am still trying to find the British Libary Reading Room lookalike that featured in the advertising for my house.
