One of the recent PC Magazines did a comparison of various firewalls, including XP built-in, when connected to home newtorks connected to a broadband. Many of them were found to be dangerously misleading in claims that they were any sort of real 'firewall' becasue to get the system to work you had to disable parts which left huge holes.
