I like football, cricket, folk music and all other forms of music.
If I want to watch football I will. If you don't want to watch football then don't, but going to a festival to avoid it doesn't make sense.
The same goes for anything else.
I don't need to do something else to avoid doing something I don't want to do.
On Friday I will be running my folk club, and will not have time for the football. I would like to watch the football, but I have a responsibilty to run my club. Decision made.
Everybody has the right to do whatever they want without making excuses.
If we all liked the same things in life, it would get a bit boring.
