Steven that phrase bugged me so much i had to search until I found the darn song. It's "Parapluies de Cherbourg (I Will Wait for You)" written in about 1965 by Michel Legrand, english lyrics by Norman gimbel. It was in the film The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.
