First (and only) time I've seen one in use myself (in real life, not on video) was at the airport in Atlanta and as I described in my previous post, it was being operated by a security guard who was zipping through the lounge area/food court at a fairly high rate of speed.

When I saw it in operation, it made me think of a horseless chariot.
