And the RRWN (Republican right wing nuts) are really scared and worried about this one.
As well they should be.
I don't know how many of you have heard that the MPAA has given the film an R rating, and Michael Moore is fuming again (as he well should be), especially because it will keep out the kids who are future cannon fodder in the Bush doctrine wars.
Here is the excerpt from the Internet Movie Database news about it:
"Former New York Governor Mario Cuomo is coming to the aid of Michael Moore and Fahrenheit 9/11, agreeing to represent him in an appeal of the MPAA's decision to slap the film with an R rating. In its decision to bar children under 17 from seeing the film unless accompanied by a parent or guardian, the MPAA's ratings board cited the film's "violent and disturbing images" and language. In an interview with Newsday, Cuomo commented, "I've seen it three times, and I think every American should see this film." He said that he had already spoken to members of the appeals board and that "they seemed receptive."
