We had an earlier thread with lyrics and chords recently on "La Llorona" which is a wonderful, scary, Mexican border song about the ghost of a weeping woman. There are two versions on record available: Joan Baez on Gracias a La Vida, and Tish Hinojosa's Aquella Noche (with lyrics). It is really easy to play (I do it Am, Dm, Am, E7 (repeat) Am, G, F, E, Am, G, F, E (repeat)) and would sound fabulous on the mandolin. There is a tougher one Tish sings, a traditional called "Estrellita" which would be dynamite on the mandolin.
