My wife and I had Fanny Powers, by Turlogh O'Carolin, it is a wonderful wedding tune, written for David Powers' daughter, and the Gaelic words translated, from memory... I'll not quit this world till with joy and with pride I will dance at the wedding where you shine as the bride and cursed be the suitor a dowery demands of fair Fanny the daughter of David. It is on a number of albums, a chieftan album, one of the Derrik Bell harp albums and a bunch of others... Geeze if ya want a quartette I'll come and play it on the Uilleann Pipes for ye. Cheers Larry PS Enjoy the first day of the best days of your life.
