Does Fred actually own a traction engine ? "Betsy" is an "Invicta" Steam-Roller, made by Aveling & Porter of Kent. Aveling & Porter made traction engines which were very similiar to the Rollers, but they only called the latter "Invicta" which is the motto of the Kentish crest - a white horse.
