I should have mentioned that the CD is hot off the burner and contains several previously unissued performances by artistes who made their names a hundred years ago. The same CD also includes a glorious moment of Gus Elen singing 'Down the road, away went Polly' and Kate Carney with 'Are we to part like this, Bill' and my nomination for the finest music hall song ever written, 'Three Pots a Shilling'.
