If you search the Web, I think you'll find that the vast majority of serious guitarists attempting to produce accurate, useful tablature are using TablEdit. This is a good tool for several reasons: compatibility with others, power and flexibility and the ability to share your work with others in the form you created it, even when they havn't purchased TablEdit.

Other music programs have tablature capabilities but either are more expensive because they address a much wider range of scores or don't readily allow their formats to be shared. All the pros seem to use TableEdit for guitar tablature.
