I've always believed that we (all humanity) could do whatever we set our collective minds to do. These people -- and the Rutan crowd are not alone -- are trying.

Personally, I'd rather go drown while trying to swim to shore than give up and die. I'm proud of what they're trying to do -- as a human being.
