I've never used TablEdit so can't comment though it apparently seems to do what it was designed to do very well.

I use Sibelius G7 mainly because I need to write musical scores for publishing and G7 is designed primarily for guitarists with either "virtual fretboard" or midi input. It also produces tabs which is a very useful side function.
