"Julie Ellison's Pub Crawl" features performances in bars and pubs with a strong commitment to live acoustic music. While they may often be noisy and smokey, they attract knowledgeable and enthusiastic audiences to venues which help to keep live music live. Come along and support them!
"Julie Ellison in Concert" ==========================
The launch of the "Julie Ellison in Concert" tour earlier this year was a great success. This tour will continue in July with a headline gig at Hebden Bridge Trades Club and a support to Ralph McTell in South Shields.
This tour features performances in concert settings, typically Arts Centres, Folk Clubs and Folk Festivals. These events generally have a door charge and offer a noise and smoke free environment in which to enjoy Julie's music.
Other News - Radio Broadcasts =============================
Julie will also be making several radio broadcasts, some of which will include a live performance.
The first is comfirmed for Monday 26 July on the "Folkwaves" programme, presented by Mick Peat and Lester Simpson. Broadcast by Radio Derby (95.3fm, 96fm, 104.5fm, 1116am), Radio Nottingham (95.5fm, 103.8fm), Radio Leicester (104.9fm) and Radio Lincolnshire (94.9fm, 104.7fm, 1368am).
The programme is also streamed live over the internet at www.bbc.co.uk/derby/folkwaves/programme.shtml.
