The main bias/blind spot Westerners have about this subject, is the belief that bombing many innocent people at once who have no way of bombing you back, isn't as bad as beheading individuals, one at a time.

We've got airplanes and bombs. We kill thousands upon thousands of civilians with them, but for some reason believe there is no price to paid for that.

We are stupid, arrogant, and blind to this fact, and it is that stupid, arrogant, blindness that resulted in deeply wounded, angry young men flying airplanes into the WTC and the Pentagon, blowing themselves up as suicide bombers, etc.

That direct correlation SHOULD be as clear as the nose on our faces. It is to the Muslim world, to Europe, to Asia, to Latin America, and to Africa, but it isn't to the US and Israel, is it?
