All of the best exits off of the interstate in Texas have La Quinta Inn. Every few exits you'll find a Motel 6 if you are fiscally constrained. You'll find Denny's (come back from the civil rights cases) and of course McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, often times as a drive-through window at the gas station.
