"All of the best exits off of the interstate in Texas have La Quinta Inn. Every few exits you'll find a Motel 6 if you are fiscally constrained. You'll find Denny's (come back from the civil rights cases) and of course McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, often times as a drive-through window at the gas station."

Wow, SRS, that's completely different scenery than here in the midwest. Why, you'd have to travel all the way to Terra Haute before you'd find your first La Quinta......well, except for the ones in Kokomo and Ft Wayne.....oh, and Jeffersonville and Louisville. OK, maybe that example doesn't work so well, but at least we don't have Burger Kings........well, actually, we do have them, but certainly not the Motel 6's or Denny's. Well, actually, we even have Motel 6's and Denny's.

Well, maybe we need to move on to New Mexico. Certainly they'd offer some variety, eh?

Mary,
Please please please don't tell me what's in the burgoo!!!!!!!!!!
