I don't have Folk Songs of Canada. I have More Folk Songs of Canada. I have seen the former and I recall they have a similar format. More Folk Songs of Canada is interesting but I would not pay a lot of money for it. It probably has about 60 songs in it.

Personally, I like Traditional Singers and Songs of Ontario, also by Edith Fowke. I have a number of other Canadian song books including some of the ones mentioned by lamarca and JAB above. Peacock and Leach are very interesting... if only you can get them at a sessible price; I could not. You would certainly enjoy Helen Creighton's books. There is also Folksongs of New Brunswick by Edward D. Ives.
