Rapaire, what you have described isn't shopping, per se. I'd call it "buying," maybe. Shopping, on the other hand, involves visiting six or more stores with the vague intention of "looking for a new pair of shoes," spending several (no doubt enjoyable) hours in the process, and coming home with a package of sewing maching needles. Too many people know where I live, so I won't go on to say that this is an endeavor most often indulged in by the fairer sex.
