Ewan McVicar ought to know - where has he got to? I don't know what Jim McLean is doing these days, if he is still alive, but I think he was from Glasgow, one of the crowd of singers and songwriters developing round the Sixties anti-nuclear protests in Scotland. He has written many fine songs, e.g. Where is the Glasgow I used to know? as a reply to Adam McNaughtan's far more nostalgic song on the same theme, and also many with a nationalist slant.
