if you really want to "browse" thru freeware, try Son of Spy. He has had his site up for years, and posts regularly in the alt.comp.freeware newsgroup. He also notes programs which used to be ok, but have been shown to contain spyware.

if you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to explore every possible source, and you read fast and have broadband and time on your hands..*grin*
go to Henk de Jong's site and follow links. He has, far & away, the most sources, and rates the sites for usefullness...
