A lot of my friends and colleagues are from iraq, so for many years I have been hearing a lot about the terrible problems in that country, for ages caused by the dreadful Saddam, and then in the last year by the turmoil which removing him gave rise to. There is a chance now of something good happening, though a lot of people are going to try and visit mayhem on the poor country. Anyway, this thread is to wish the Iraqis well; something new has happened to day. let's hope it leads to something permanent.
