I bought a used Bluegrass compilation CD the other day. I have always enjoyed Ralph Stanley and/or The Stanley Brothers. This CD included "Pig In A Pen" (search Piginpen on the DT). I was floored by this song, I just can't imagine a better love song than:

I've got a pig at home in a pen, corn to raise him on, all I need is a pretty little girl, to feed him when I'm gone.

In all seriousness, this is a great bluegrass song, featuring Ralph playing brilliantly, the band kicking, the harmonies perfect. But I can't help but think that this may be the worst pick up line in history.
