"particularly virulent form of Patterson's curse".

Hmmmmm, what is Patterson's curse? Catspaw laying down his particular form of wisdom, humour and flatulance? Micca giving us another set of song lyrics to a song we only thought we knew? I'd be interested to know, being half Patterson myself.

We all are on the watch out........don't want to be taken to task by a troll, don't want to contribute to a thread that might be a troll in diguise, don't want to hang our thoughts and feelings out there where a troll can find them and mock them.......

It lessens our response, it makes us cautious when we should be amongst friends.........it also makes us question what we are writing here for history to examine.......and question whether it is opinion or fact.........I will go on record as saying I quite like trolls.......they make us think about how we respond in a way that no other catalyst could induce.
