Thanks, Jim, for taking time to do the research. I have the CD with the song, but my French isn't quite up to transcribing very accurately. I've at least managed to get the chorus transcribed -- your first two lines are the last two lines of the chorus:

Je voudrais bien ouvrir mon coeur
Car il est plein de nos malheur
Non, jamais plus ne reviendra
Le temps perdu de nos combats...

I've done searches on the Internet, and it's almost like the song never existed ... guess I'll just keep working on it. Thanks again..
