Like that little girl, when it's good it's very very good, but... :-/
I've not been up there for a while - I used to go fairly regularly but I've not been up there for about 5 years now. Camping is in a field just to the side - there's a cold tap and a loo, and that's the extent of the facilities, but it's only £2 or £3 or something like that. Or you may be able to use the barn across the way (known as the "pig loft", bcos it's a hay-loft over an ex-pigsty) which has room for about a dozen if they're friendly but no facilities at all.
When it's a good night, it's brilliant. When it's empty though then it's a bit cold and damp. Best bring a friend or two, then even if no-one else much turns up, you can play yourselves and enjoy the beer (which is very good).
The owners and locals can look a bit ferocious, but they're actually OK, just kind of standard Derbyshire/Yorkshire really.
