Ripon Folk Club was severely inconvenienced when the landlord and landlady of the Oak Tree at Copt Hewick did a midnight runner. As far as I know,the pub's still closed.
Norman & Anne Garbutt, the folk club organisers, don't seem to be able to find another suitable venue.
