Profits? That's a good one! Let me point out that a sell-out crowd at CB's 313 Gallery is about 100 people, and after producing five different shows at that venue I have yet to be blessed with a sell-out crowd. Admission is only $5 per head, and from that the house gets a cut for itself and to pay the sound guy. We then give the special guest artist and our bass player their payment from the performers' share. The remainder is divided equally. Each of us has done his or her own publicity, which means paying for printing and postage. In my own case, have 180 names on my NY metro area mailing list. In addition, I place quarter page ads in the NY Pinewoods newsletter. Go ahead and do the math!

Does being under contract to Lorcan Industry Inc. mean that the corporation will absorb the loss? [That is joke. Laugh.]

Moreover, didn't I say this? Honestly, I don't really care if anyone is recording me for non-commercial purposes. And this? The bottom line is that for the record I am not giving my permission at this time, although I will not do anything to stop "Radio Audience." That sure seems like I'm saying go ahead and do what you want. But at the same time I'm agreeing that there are some complex issues involved.

Now that we have shown that the horse is truly dead, can we please stop beating it?

But please do come to CB's 313 Gallery this coming Sunday, July 11, 2004, at 7 PM to find out what all the fuss is about. That's at 313 Bowery in New York City.

Just look for the huge throng of cool looking young people with tattoos and body piercings. That's CBGB's/Omfug. We're right next door, where -- alas! -- there will likely be no wait to get in.
