Well, I hate satrting a new thread since I tyhought that Don's was going to end up in this direction but with all the tricks that the Bush folks have up their sleeves, I think its fair game to pick the *official date* (wink, wink) of Osoma's capture.

I'm staking out October 2nd. Any later and it will appear too obvious and any sooner it will not have that lasting effect that Bush would like to get out of the event. Plus, Bush knows not to inroduce stuff in September. Remember, Itaq. His guys said September was the wrong time to sell a war and he sho nuff got his war sold by waitin'...

So, October 2nd!!!! Not the 1st. That would seem impatient!

Official Rules: Once a date has been taken it is taken. Should another Catter attempt to pick the same date he or she will be punished by having to read every post that Teribus has posted!!! I thought that would get yer attention...

Prizes: The Catter who guesses the closest date will get a one year membership 6to Mudact and a one years un-protested gloating right at the Catbox. The 2nd place finisher will recieve a years membership to Mudcat and 3 nights of playing checkers with DougR. The 3rd place finisher will recieve a one year membership to Mudcat and two nights accomodations in Bobert's Double Decker Blues Bus Cottage (transportation, beer, samiches & smokin' rope not included.)
Honorable mentions will recieve a one week membership to Mudcat and be honorably mentioned.

Members of the Bush administration (Teribus included) are not eligible to particpate.
