Peg leg Martha was a Seagull out of Turkey
A special amputated avian at large
For though her leg was made of plastic
All her scrounging was fantastic
She ate more than any Seagull on the Barge

Once her foot had been a lacerated nightmare
So to save her life the Vet had cut it off
But did that drive this Birdy Barmy?
No, she stole a leg from Barbie,
And went home to beg some french-fries on the Dock!

Now the tourists on the yacht all look for Martha
And the headlines say she's running very well
She gets scraps before the others
'For her sisters and her brothers
She's the only Bird with limbs made by Mattel!
