Okay, Martin, fair enough about your rabbi. So what bugs you about Georgiansilver is...you DON'T know him...and you're not sure where he's really coming from. Well, so what? Why worry about it? If God is in everyone (and by definition, He must be), then to bless everyone would seem to be a reasonable spiritual practice to follow. I don't think it necessarily indicates any kind of smug superiority on GS's part, but rather a belief in equality.

We agree there is one God. So obviously it is by that one God that GS is suggesting people be blessed.
