Richard: I assume that the "silly A road" to which you referred is the A225 which goes through Eynsford to Otford, just missing Shoreham. It's a prettier route than my suggestion, but will probably take you longer. It beats me why they couldn't have had a Sevenoaks exit on the M26 - that might have made things easier.

Nerd: I think that the Streetmap.co.uk hyperlink in my opening post proves that the place does really exist. In fact it's only along the road from Pratt's Bottom - and I understand that a Mr Pratt might even be coming !
