Thread Name: how many songs in your repertoire?
Subject: RE: how many songs in your repertoire?
Ah now the ones I know are a different matter - the first thing I ever recorded on the 4 track stereo reel to reel tape recorder was by Jo Brown and had the refrain 'concerto in you for comb and cazoo'- ARGGG!!!

The second thing was Born to be Wild - Steppenwolf.

Then there were all the old records on the wind up gramophone - after the ball is over, When father papered the parlour, Blue Danube by Spike Jones and the City Slickers. (Oh the Danube is not blue - it's green!!)

I have learned avoid the Eurovision Song Contest - but an erase button would be a blessing - the first to go would be 'We are the Ovaltinies' closely followed by the version of 'Abdul the Bulbul Emir' I know. It was only recently that I discovered that there was a version of the latter which wasn't rude.
