2.    What strings did you use, Phil, for that CGCGCD tuning? Some of my guitars are likely to be used for a recording project for an "unplugged" album by a local metal band, and they will want the guitars tuned to CGCFAD and I am collecting suggestions! Most of my guitars use standard lights (eg 12-52) but one 13-5 or 13-58, in Spanish tuning.
