You know, I usually steer clear of nonsense threads, but this Fillmore business is strangely compelling, and I've voted a couple dozen times - will do so more God willing.

A couple of thoughts:

1. SINSULL said somewhere that this was a chance for us non-Americans to have a vote in the American presidency. Well, the American president I really wish I could vote for isn't on the list: John Kerry. Maybe we could do a write-in campaign for him?

2. I have my suspicions that Oliver Whistlemore doesn't really work for the toy company. But... surely the real people are wondering what's going on. What if we informed this about this campaign, gave them links to the related threads, and invited comments? They might just have a sense of humour...
