Musicman,Thank you for creating such a beautiful CD. I picked it up from the post office this afternoon, and just finished listening to it. I'll be listening to it again another couple of times tonight. I'm glad I ordered one for my sister too, because I am sure she will love it as well.
The last track, Farewell, raised the hairs on the back of my neck - haunting and sad, with that far off sound, like hearing the sound of a flute floating on the air on a misty night. I like the different arrangements/feeling of each set, too.
Thank you, I'll treasure it always. I wish we had had it for the wedding. The singer and guitarist at the ceremony performed Buachaill on Eirne/Come by the Hills and it sounded beautiful, but we could have played this CD at the reception. It would have been appropriate, I think, to celebrate our wedding and to celebrate the life of the wife of someone special here at Mudcat.
Thanks, too, to Sandy, Caroline and friends at Folk Legacy. I only ordered it last week (Oct 7?) and it is over here already. It only took 6 days to get to Oz, no, really just 5 days with the time zone differences. It's a world record, I'm sure. It usually takes up to 2 weeks (on a fast trip) to get things I have ordered from the U.S.
