Hi Joe: If you read my post of July 21/04 "coppers grow unto silver" you will find how I heard and learned a good deal of these older songs. Heard Legend of the Dogwood sung by a local performer some nights back and it stirred it in my memory. I have since found it in Real audio by Wilma Lee at the record lady.
