I read the eulogy out loud to my wife this evening, but I kept getting choked up. I was thinking of Rick today, remembering how he'd phone me unexpectedly, all the way from Toronto - just to chat. Each call was a little gift - he seemed to know when I was feeling down or when I needed to talk with somebody with intelligence.
I sure liked him, and I'll miss him.
