I don't know how many of you are getting the excellent convention coverage by Democracy Now! Today, they did an excellent piece titled "The Other Convention: Scrubbed Speeches, Excluded Voices and the Crackdown on 'Peace Delegates'".

One of the stories they broke yesterday was of one of the peace delegates being handcuffed and dragged from the convention floor by national security police, for unfurling an anti-war banner.

Today, they are talking with the Democrats who aren't being allowed to address the convention. They include Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold, the only US senator to vote against the Patriot Act, and Representative Maxine Waters, one of the most radical members of the Black Congressional Caucus.
