I agree that Mr. Obama represents the future of African American leadership in the Democratic Party. However, many of the Black people who I come in contact with on a daily basis consider Rev. Sharpton their present leader, and feel that he should be rewarded in some way by Kerry. Not that they are going to vote for Bush if that does not happen, but they would definitely feel slighted.
