All I know is, I was staring into my 4 year old's face during the Reagan years, and I couldn't conceive of compromising with the bastards, or buying organized labor's mantras of the importance of moving to the middle, where they are stuck--paralyzed actually--today.

William Greider is a really good writer, very safe middle of MY road kind of guy, who writes for the middle of the road, The Nation magazine.
