Thank you Jim Dixon, I grew up with that song, matter of fact I still have the old 78 record of Gene Autry singing that song. Today I found a picture of The Hope of a Nation, which is the bible on the table and the flag upon the wall. I found it at a yard sale and could not believe my luck. My grandmother had the same picture when I was just a child. I really believe that if we followed the lyrics, we, as a nation, would be in a lot better shape then we are in right now.
