It comes as no surprise to find that the current licensees are leaving the pub in about a month. The curse of the pubco strikes again and this is the 6th change of landlord in just over 5 years.

Once again we will have to determine whether we can carry on with our Tuesday Acoustic workshop and Sunday afternoon sessions, once the new people are installed (assuming that they can get someone).

Who knows ,maybe we'll get back to having a good choice of real ales in this pub that, only last year, was voted CAMRA East Riding pub of the year for its range of beers and live acoustic music. At the moment I couldn't argue a case for it even being in the Good Beer Guide as there are times when there is no hand pulled beer on at all!

In the meantime we will be carrying on with Tuesday nights and Sunday afternoons and hope for better times (although the landlord has stopped booking bands on a Sunday night).
