I don't usually even look "below the line", never mind post.

However, I have just been ranting at the BBC music message boards about how clunky, non-user friendly, unreliable and generally fucking awful they are. This for a public service broadcasting organisation to which we in the UK forcibly contributes over £2 per week each in licence fees.

As I admonished the Beeb, Mudcat manages to maintain a worldwide, generally fault-free site needing only the occasional reboot to a server located (as I understand it) on someone's kitchen table.

Cherish what you've got, people, while you have it. If Max needs membership subscriptions from us to keep things going, let him post and say so. Many of us here, I imagine, would be a lot more willing to set up debits to Mudcat than to the Beeb.
