TBPL: I am a guy. I have NO idea what rosette looks like. There are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and brown. White and black exist as does the suffix -ish. Turquoise is really either bluish or greenish. The adjectives dark and light will qualify most colours, and the adverb very will qualify the adjective. Thus, we can say things like "The child's dress was very dark bluish", and thereby we do not have to invent another term for the colour.

I feel much the same about flowers. I love flowers, but I call them all petunias. It is just a method of keeping my world simple. I personally believe you are TheBigPinkLad. So don't let those nay sayers get to you. They are Canadians, and they have issues.
